Contad conmigo!!

For the outing tomorrow:
We are 9 and will go with three cars.
Meeting point: 16:00 Friday CMIMA
Personal material: Crampons, Piolet, Snow-shoes
Common material: rope, clamps, ...
Optional material: helmet, hiking sticks, ...

We will have dinner in Vall d'Aran and then approach the refugio.
There is a road leading to the refugio but we have to consider that we might have to walk a few kilometers depending on the amount of snow. Others write in a tour description that they had to walk the last five kilometers. In our case it might be less or more.

We will further put some tents into the cars, just in case and as a last resort.

After breakfast (hot tea, we will have three boilers), Saturday morning we will start at 6 am and approach the rock with snow-shoes. When we reach the channel, we will see how to limb it. But at least the first part should be amenable with crampons, piolet, and maybe a hiking stick. In case the upper climb is very nasty, some of us including me might just stay below.

Let us just keep in mind that it is going to be freezing cold up there (-10C).

See you guys tomorrow. I am sure we will have great time.

Marcus
